Hello everyone, I proudly call myself a Home Decor Specialist and Digital Stylist. My journey to founding The Decor Dash wasn’t a straight line, but it’s built on a simple belief: your home should be your greatest asset, not another source of stress
I started my career in the classroom. Years of teaching taught me how to strip away the “fluff” and focus on what actually works. When I transitioned into the professional world of digital marketing and content strategy, I realized that most home decor advice was just noise. It was often about chasing fleeting trends rather than building a space that actually serves the person living in it.
With over 25 years of professional experience, I’ve learned that the environment you surround yourself with dictates your mindset. Whether you are trying to find focus in a home office or creating a sanctuary to recharge after a long day, the items you choose should solve problems, not just take up space
The Decor Dash was created to offer a “no-nonsense” perspective on home styling. I’m interested in:
Timeless Quality: Finding pieces that you’ll still love a decade from now, not just for a month.
Functional Beauty: Decor that looks high-end but stands up to real, daily life.
Intentional Spaces: How to arrange a room so it actually improves your mood and productivity.
Chasing every micro-trend on social media is exhausting and expensive. True style doesn’t expire in a single season. I focus on helping you choose foundational furniture, versatile color palettes, and quality materials that will still feel fresh, relevant, and beautiful a decade from now.
A pristine room isn’t successful if you are terrified to actually live in it. Your home should stand up to real, daily life—whether that means pets, kids, or busy work schedules. We look for smart, durable fabric choices, clever layouts, and high-end looks that don’t require delicate upkeep.
Interior design is deeply tied to mindset and productivity. How you arrange a room can directly dictate your stress levels or focus. By intentionally organizing layouts, maximizing natural light, and clearing visual clutter, we create environments that genuinely improve your everyday mood.
My goal is simple: to provide the honest, experience-driven insights I wish I’d had when I was first learning how to curate my own home. I’m here to help you build a space that truly reflects who you are.
